Founder of Fursa. Building the AI-native hiring company.

Portrait of Kartik Raj Rewar

I believe AI will create a new generation of companies that sell outcomes like service businesses but operate with the leverage of software companies.

Instead of giving customers another tool to use, they will take responsibility for the work itself, then use software, AI, and the data generated by each outcome to make delivery progressively faster, better, and more scalable.

Fursa is my attempt to build that model for hiring.

Recruiting is still largely a people-heavy business built around repetitive search, evaluation, and coordination. Fursa is being built around the opposite assumption: software and AI should do more of that work with every hire, while people concentrate on judgment, relationships, and the decisions that actually matter.

Background

Before Fursa, I built Polynomial Studio, where I developed products and businesses across hiring, remote work, marketplaces, and applied AI.

Earlier, I was General Manager of an early-stage technology company, where I built and led a 15-person team from investment thesis through product launch. I have also worked independently with companies and investors on strategy, technology, and new business models.

I spent the first four and a half years of my career at Emaar. I joined as an Entrepreneur in Residence, helped build its digital innovation function, and later led strategy work across international growth, diversification, technology, and new businesses.

I studied engineering at IIT Bombay and business at IIM Ahmedabad.
